USB‑C 5V input board with CC pull-downs feeding a TPS2553 current-limited power switch, filtered 5V output connector, external enable control, and red overcurrent/fault LED indicator.
# TPS2553 USB power switch
A 30 × 30 mm, two-layer board based on TI's TPS2553 USB power-switch application. USB-C supplies 5 V through separate 5.1 kΩ CC pull-downs. A TPS2553DBVR limits output current; a 49.9 kΩ resistor selects approximately 520 mA nominal. J2 provides switched power. J3 exposes enable, active-low fault, and ground; the red LED lights during a fault.
The schematic has three A4 sheets: USB input, power switch/output, and control/status. Each uses native Matchpack placement and schematic trace solving. The PCB uses the local autorouter. U1 is rotated 90° to run power from the input connector toward the output connector.
The TPS2553 import retains the C55266 catalog land pattern. Its component classification is corrected from a two-terminal switch to a six-pin IC, using TI's DBV pinout.
Known fabrication-layer issue: U1's rectangular fabrication body outline does not follow its 90° rotation in the current core. This board is a practical reproduction of that geometry defect. Copper connectivity is separate and passes the PCB shorts check. The board has not been fabricated or electrically tested.

Build with `bun install --frozen-lockfile`, `bun run build`, `bun run validate`, and `bun run render`. Validation checks all TPS2553 pin/net assignments, three sheets, native placement and trace-solver runs, routed copper, and zero Circuit JSON errors/warnings. Gerber-mode shorts checking currently rejects the imported polygon pads; the native PCB-mode shorts check passes.
